Michelle McKeon, M.S.

I am an executive function coach, ADHD coach, and academic coach based in Danville, CA. I provide coaching for students with executive function challenges or ADHD. In addition, I help students with academics, including math tutoring, and provide classes and videos to help prepare students for school.

I have a B.S. in Applied Math and Economics from UCLA, and an M.S. in Engineering from Stanford. I remain involved with Stanford as an alumni ambassador, interviewing candidates for admission. Prior to launching Atrium Academics, I worked in the high-tech industry as a management consultant, programmer, development manager, and product manager, working for companies such as Ernst & Young, Kraft Foods, and Oracle. My prior career provided me with the opportunity to manage sizable teams, work with a large variety of clients, and teach technical and non-technical audiences.

I have extensive experience working with students of all ages and abilities. Like the students I work with, I continually pursue my own education by attending numerous courses each year to remain updated on the latest information about ADHD, executive functioning, and how students learn. I am certified in executive function coaching and I am a graduate of the ADD Coaching Academy, one of the few institutions accredited by the ICF (International Coaching Federation) and PAAC (the Professional Association for ADHD Coaches).

With two grown sons, I have a true understanding of the challenges of school and am well-suited to work compassionately with students of many learning styles. In the rare instance I am not working with students, pursuing more knowledge, or planning strategies for my students, you can find me walking with my dog, working in my garden, or enjoying time with family and friends.

My true joy is inspiring students to feel empowered and more confident in school.

Kind Words

"I could see confidence building in my daughter"

I would highly recommend Michelle for any child’s tutoring-learning needs. I could see confidence building in my daughter after her first session with Michelle. The results are evident not only in my daughter’s grades, but in her overall confidence level as she tackles weekly homework assignments.
